- The Indian National Chapter of the International Association of Hydrogeologists (INC-IAH) proposed to organise a National seminar as its annual convention on “Resilience of Groundwater Resources for accommodating the changing climate scenarios” in November, 2020. However, due to the prevailing Pandemic and various travel restrictions, the proposed seminar has now been rescheduled as an online event to be held on February 27-28, 2021.
- The Technical themes remain the same but the deliberations will be spread to two days with a special lecture on National Science Day, as well as INC-IAH award ceremony and annual general body meeting. The deadline for abstracts is now January 25, 2021 (through email: ccs@gmail.com). The abstracts already submitted will be automatically included in the review process and acceptance will be notified by January 31, 2021. Since the event is online, there is no registration fee; however, participants are encouraged to register in advance using website; www.inciah.org.
- The abstracts received will be reviewed by the experts of the subject and five abstracts based on the recommendations of the reviewers will be orally presented in each of the four sessions. It is also expected that the author presents only the findings in 10 minutes’ time. The participants will pose their question in the chat box or Question Box. The same will be replied and discussed during the theme’s panel discussion.
- The selected abstract for the poster session will be displayed with the specified link and participants may directly connect through audio/video chat to the corresponding authors for discussions and/or questions.
- After January 31, 2021, a final program with speaker’s name will be available on the website. Any query may be sent to the dedicated email ccs@gmail.com.
- Soft copy of the abstract volume will be available during the seminar. Full papers submitted on the basis of presentation of abstracts will be published, after due process of review, in the e-Journal of Geohydrology
